Vice President - Preconstruction and Development


Geoff Sharpe is a Vice President – Preconstruction and Development at EDENS, one of the nation’s leading private owners, operators and developers of retail real estate. 

Sharpe leads an in-house team of project managers and designers in support of key leasing and development projects across the EDENS portfolio. 

He works directly with municipal and state agencies, construction and consultant teams and key tenants on many of the company’s most complex urban development projects, including Mosaic in Fairfax, Va., Union Market in Washington, D.C., Met Miami in Miami and Closter Plaza in Closter, N.J. 

Prior to joining EDENS, Sharpe spent six years with RTKL Associates, Inc. As an Associate, he was the primary client contact and project manager for a variety of the firm’s urban design projects. 

For his work on Mosaic, Sharpe received the US Design and Development Gold Design and Gold Sustainable Design awards from the International Council of Shopping Centers. He was also awarded an Award of Excellence for best mixed-use project (Mosaic) from the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties. 

Sharpe graduated from Oberlin College and went on to receive a Master in Landscape Architecture from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design. He also completed coursework at Johns Hopkins University’s Carey Business School.
