a story of Stewardship

Building a Legacy

Our people are our greatest resource.

We want our impact on the world to be a meaningful one.

Edens defines stewardship as our responsibility to properly develop and utilize our people; property and financial assets together with our natural resources to ensure that our world and our business are sustained for future generations.

Our greatest resource? Our people.

A team like ours can build amazing things.

EDENS was built on passion.

And that passion comes from the people who live it every day, in our corporate offices and throughout our retail centers all across the East Coast. We value our people because they are EDENS. So as we work to be a good steward of our resources, we start by giving our employees the culture, environment, and benefits they need to grow, professionally and personally. It’s why we’ve been nominated for multiple Best Place to Work lists. We take care of our employees. We believe in them. We thrive on their innovation.

We’re passionate about enriching communities – not only in our retail centers, but also in the community we call home.  We recognize our responsibility to cultivate a great internal culture where our people can thrive both at EDENS and leave every day enriched to improve their own communities outside of EDENS.  Through continuing education; volunteering occasions and cultural sponsorships, our people are given rich opportunities.  Every year, EDENS employees come together in a community service day to volunteer at a variety of charitable organizations. In one day, we give over 2000 hours of community service, the equivalent of one person volunteering full time for a year.

But beyond successful centers, we’re also building a community legacy of sustainability, service, and philanthropy. We’re giving our employees the tools they need to personally impact their neighborhoods.

That’s amazing.
